During the global pandemic and in the middle of lockdown my wife and youngest son took a massive leap into the dark and purchased a surf shop! Dexters Surf Shop is located on the North Sea coast in the stunning North Bay, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK.
We quickly decided that we wanted to design and source our own in-house surf clothing that was exclusive to our family run surf shop. This meant we could have full control of the quality, branding, design and sustainability.
“Old Man Jones Surf Co” was born. The man, the legend, the clothing.
Who knows what the age of Old Man Jones really is? With a lifetime on a sea-etched face, and a wily smile, he could be 100?!
He knows the currents, and the ebbs and flows of the tide like the back of his hand.
Always happy to pass on his years of surfing knowledge to young and old alike.
Old school from a bygone generation, with a deep love of the environment, he is a kindly soul who listens more than he speaks.
He is sometimes found in the North Bay looking out to sea, but more often, he can be picked out in the distance, surfing the big rollers……..
